Tonight’s Winnipeg Jets — Ottawa Senators tilt will see the team host the second annual Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation game.

The night will salute the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces with the Jets wearing limited edition military themed jerseys for warm-up at MTS Centre.

The jerseys will then be auctioned online with proceeds going to Canadian Armed Forces charities. Prior to the game, an official puck drop will take place with the Canadian Armed Forces Chief of the Defence Staff General Tom Lawson. The national anthem will be performed by Canadian Armed Forces anthem singer Sergeant David Grenon, with the Royal Canadian Air Force Band, and alongside the Flag Party from Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship Chippawa.

Sports writer Darrin Bauming will have your post-game coverage later tonight on ChrisD.ca.
