Travel Manitoba has won a tourism award for its 2014 campaign, “Manitoba, Canada’s Heart… Beats.”
The organization picked up two golds and one silver at WorldMediaFestival | TOURISM in Hamburg, Germany.
“To have our 2014 advertising campaign — the first one to feature our new Manitoba, Canada’s Heart… Beats brand — win gold at an international awards is proof that our messages have the power to resonate with audiences from around the world,” said Colin Ferguson, Travel Manitoba president and CEO.
“We recognize the efforts of our agency, McKim Communications Group, which was able to capture Manitoba’s iconic travel experiences through our new brand and 2014 advertising campaign.”
The second gold came for Travel Manitoba’s 2013-2014 annual report in the corporate print category. “The Dish: Manitoba Nuggets to Chew On,” a menu of Manitoba story ideas, was awarded a silver in the media kit category.
