Two 16-year-old boys are facing charges after Winnipeg police say they shot a pellet gun at children playing soccer in St. Vital on Wednesday.
Police were called to the 100 block of Beliveau Road at around 6:40 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
Officers were led to an upper suite of an apartment complex, where police say the teens fired several rounds of a Crosman BB gun at children playing nearby.
No one was struck or injured in the incident.
The gun was seized and the teens are facing charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, and discharging an air gun or pistol with intent.
Both were released on a promise to appear.
