Downtown Bank Robbed in Broad Daylight, Suspect Sought

Winnipeg Police CrestPolice are looking for a man who robbed a downtown Winnipeg bank in broad daylight on Tuesday.

Officers were called to the Scotiabank in the 300 block of Broadway at around 1:40 p.m.

Police say the man had demanded money from a female teller and told her he was armed.

He was provided with an undisclosed amount of money before he fled.

The suspect is described as approximately 50-years-old, 5’4” to 5’8” tall with an average build and reddish hair. He was wearing a blue jean jacket and a hoodie.
