An accumulation of snow in southern Manitoba kept RCMP busy Monday attending multiple crashes.
“With the snowfall overnight, road conditions are quite icy, creating slippery sections on Manitoba highways,” RCMP said in a release.
Police are asking motorists to drive with caution and for winter conditions, such as slowing down and increasing the distance between yourself and other vehicles.
Winnipeg received about 2-4 cm of snow, but localized areas such as St. Vital reported up to 6 cm by mid-morning.
