Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police say they’re looking for a man who committed an indecent act on Orange Street Tuesday morning.

Police said a woman, 45, was walking southbound on Orange Street when she passed a man with his back to her. He asked her directions to Polo Park as she passed, but she ignored the man.

However, the man followed her and again asked her for directions to Polo Park. When she turned around, the man was performing an indecent act. She quickened her pace but the man followed her, so she ran until she was able to put some distance between herself and him.

Police said they are looking for a darker-skinned man, 35-40 years old, about 6′ tall, 200 pounds with a chubby build, short dark hair and a scruffy face. He was wearing a black baseball cap, dark jacket and jeans. He was last seen at the intersection of Orange Street and Dublin Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 204-986-2877.
