A fire Monday afternoon south of Winnipeg turned fatal on a rural farm property.
Firefighters responded just before 4 p.m. in the RM of Rhineland, Manitoba, where they found the remains of a badly burned man.
RCMP say flames spread throughout the dwellings and over the property, resulting in an area approximately the size of two football fields being on fire.
The identity of the deceased hasn’t been confirmed.
The fire doesn’t appear to be suspicious, but the investigation into its cause is ongoing.
