Former Winnipeg Blue Bomber great Doug Brown is leading the sixth annual KidSport football camp on May 23.

Brown, along with a number of current and retired CFL players, will be taking kids through all the elements of a football combine, as well as position-specific fundamental drills and exercises.

“KidSport is a grassroots organization whose mandate is as critical as it is simple: “So All Kids Can Play, said Brown. “All athletes recognize the immeasurable benefits that sports and team activities have on today’s youth.”

The camp will take place at The UNITED Health & RecPlex at the University of Winnipeg.

“It’s an immensely positive experience for the kids to learn new skills and interact with some current and alumni Bomber players,” said Matt Erhard, the chair of the Winnipeg Region KidSport Committee.
