WINNIPEG — Choosing a career path takes time and careful thought, but a symposium this week will help guide students along the way.
The 18th Annual Rotary Career Symposium is April 21-22 at the RBC Convention Centre.
This year’s theme, Discover Your Options, will feature more than 200 exhibitor booths and 30 speaker sessions featuring Manitoba’s leading industries, employers, post-secondary and trade associations spread out over two floors.
About 12,000 people attended the symposium last year. Manitoba students in Grades 7 to 12 make up the majority of the attendees, while teachers, parents and other adults interested in a career or a career change make up the rest.
The Rotary Career Symposium is open to schools and the public Tuesday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $3.00.
