WINNIPEG — LEGO is putting the pieces together to open up a store in Winnipeg sometime later this year.
The Denmark-based toy manufacturer has posted job openings on its website for a retail store manager and assistant store manager for the Winnipeg market.
LEGO currently operates nine stores in Canada, but has yet to expand into Manitoba.
Details on where in the city the store might be located were not immediately available.
LEGO was in the forefront last year with the popular “Lego Movie” featuring the catchy “Everything is Awesome” theme song by Canadian indie pop duo Tegan and Sara.
