April 20, 2015 1:28 PM | News

RCMP Crest LogoSix suspicious packages sent to Manitoba law court buildings across the province were not a threat to the public.

RCMP say the packages, which originated from China, were tested and came back with negative. They were sent to courthouses in Winnipeg, Thompson, Brandon, Morden, Minnedosa and Churchill earlier this month.

Similar packages were received at court offices in other parts of Canada.

Police are continuing to investigate.
