A new event to Shaw Park this summer will benefit the Winnipeg Goldeyes’ Field of Dreams Foundation.
Grazing in the Outfield is a dinner on Thursday, July 23, hosted by the Dairy Farmers of Manitoba.
Guests will dine in the outfield and feast on creations by Chef Ben Kramer with an emphasis on dairy products.
Guests will witness a cow milking demonstration and learn about the process of bringing the farm to the fork.
“I can’t wait to show Winnipeg our twist on ballpark food in such a beautiful setting,” chef Ben Kramer said. “We have had a blast at every DFM event we have partnered with, and this one is no different.”
A total of 200 tickets are available for $200 each and are available through GrazingInThefield.com, visiting the Shaw Park box office or calling the Goldeyes office at (204) 982-2273. The event will take place rain or shine.
