Winnipeg’s fifth QuickCare clinic will be built in Southdale, adding another option for residents in the area to see a physician for treatment of minor ailments and routine health needs.
“With more than 120,000 patient visits to date, QuickCare clinics have been a major success story and have contributed to keeping our health-care system current, accessible and responsive to the needs of all Manitobans,” said Premier Greg Selinger.
The Southdale QuickCare clinic will be located at 115 Vermillion Road and is expected to open later this year or early 2016.
Anyone can visit a QuickCare clinic location and doesn’t need to reside in the neighbourhood where they’re located.
