Winnipeg Folk Festival Unwraps Main Stage Lineup

Winnipeg Folk Festival

The Winnipeg Folk Festival has announced the main stage entertainment for when the annual outdoor party gets going on July 9.

Winnipeg’s the Mariachi Ghost will get things going at 6 p.m. on opening night, ending with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros to cap off the first day of the four-day festival.

Steeleye Span feat. Maddy Prior — 7 p.m.
Trampled by Turtles — 8:20 p.m.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros — 9:40 p.m.

Friday, July 10
Dustbowl Revival — 6 p.m.
Shakey Graves — 7:05 p.m.
Jason Isbell — 8:15 p.m.
Matt Andersen & the Mellotones — 9:35 p.m.
Bahamas — 10:55 p.m.

Saturday, July 11
Frazey Ford — 6 p.m.

Early bird tickets are on sale until April 30. Tickets are available at the Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store (211 Bannatyne Avenue, open Tuesday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and online or through Ticketmaster.
