Kids Help Phone Walk Set for Sunday

Kids Help PhoneMore than 40 Canadian communities are taking part in the Kids Help Phone’s Walk so Kids Can Talk this weekend.

Walkers will lace up Sunday in Winnipeg for the 14th annual event, presented by BMO.

More than $3 million was raised for Kids Help Phone last year with the help of nearly 10,000 Canadians.

The five-kilometre walk is an opportunity for thousands of kids, adults, families, schools, community organizations and companies to come together for the day.

Locally, the walk will depart from the University of Winnipeg, 515 Portage Avenue, at 11 a.m. Registration is at 10 a.m.
