Winnipeg police are hoping members of the public can help them to identify a young man hit by a vehicle Saturday night in an apparent hit and run.
The victim was struck at around 11:30 p.m. in the area of Inkster Avenue and Bunting Street.
Police found him unconscious and he was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The victim is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 18-20 years of age, approximately 6’ tall with a skinny build and blonde hair. He was wearing Warehouse One blue jeans, black T-shirt with ‘Ecko United’ printed on the front in gold and white lettering, black ‘DC’ running shoes with ‘DC’ in blue on the sides and black ankle socks. The male has neither any distinguishing scars nor tattoos.
Police don’t have a vehicle description, but say there will be substantial damage to its windshield.
