The death of a four-month-old girl in Little Black River First Nation, Manitoba isn’t being treated as suspicious.
RCMP were called to the area for a non-responsive child at around 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The child was taken to hospital in Selkirk, where she was pronounced deceased.
Police initiated an investigation under the Fatality Inquiries Act, but have withdrawn after concluding the death wasn’t suspicious.
The name of the deceased isn’t being released.
