Want to volunteer at the Assiniboine Park and Zoo this summer? They would love to have you.

The Assiniboine Park Conservancy has 200 volunteer spots open for a number of roles for the busy summer season.

“Volunteering at the Park and Zoo is a great way for people to enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, meet new people and have the opportunity to contribute to the exciting growth and change at Assiniboine Park and Zoo,” said Shaun Leonoff, APC manager of volunteer resources.

“We offer a variety of roles for all skills sets so there really is something for everyone.”

Volunteer opportunities include goodwill ambassadors, administrative support, zoo tram tour guides, education program assistants, visitor services concierge and special events assistants.

Volunteers can sign up online or e-mail volunteer@assiniboinepark.ca.
