Advance tickets are now on sale for this year’s Kidsfest at The Forks.
Organizers have lowered ticket prices this year and will be offering new initiatives for the Winnipeg International Children’s Festival, happening June 4-7.
To cater to the grown ups, Kidsfest will hold an After Hours event on Friday, June 5, featuring an evening concert, hot dog buffet with gourmet toppings an adult beverages. Performers include Fred Penner, Bon Débarras and Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy. Tickets are $40 (with a $20 tax receipt).
General admission to the festival is $14 per person. Visitors can receive a 15 percent discount with the purchase of four or more tickets. Besides online, Winnipeg Safeway locations are also selling tickets.
