Winnipeg police are continuing to look for the vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian last Saturday evening.

Chris Nero, 22, was hit by the vehicle in the area of Inkster Avenue and Bunting Street just after 11:30 p.m. on May 2.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.

Police don’t have a suspect vehicle description, but say substantial damage would have been done to the windshield. The vehicle is believed to be smaller in size and the above photo shows what the windshield may look like.

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6271 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
