Lori Lamont (WRHA)
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority has named Lori Lamont interim president and CEO.
The vice-president of interprofessional practice and chief nursing officer takes over from Arlene Wilgosh, who will retire this spring.
“Lori has been with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority for 17 years with the last six years in senior leadership positions. I am confident she will provide the leadership necessary to move the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority forward, and continue the progress we are making in dealing with the challenges facing the region,” said Dr. Jerry Gray, chair of the board of directors.
Lamont will begin the position effective May 29 and remain until a permanent president and CEO is found through a recruiting process carried out by the board.
