A 13-year-old girl in Norway House was able to escape from an attempted abduction early Tuesday morning.
Manitoba RCMP say three youths were riding their bikes just after midnight when a black 4X4 truck stopped on the roadway. A man got out and grabbed onto the teen before one of her friends was able to hit the offender off.
The youth escaped unharmed and police were notified.
The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion, wearing a black hat, dark hoodie and dark sweatpants.
RCMP are asking anyone with information to contact the Norway House RCMP at (204) 359-6483 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
