Aboriginal Business, Economics Promoted at Vision Quest

Vision Quest ConferenceCanada’s longest-running aboriginal business, community and economic development conference is happening in Winnipeg today and Thursday.

Vision Quest is a gathering of about 80 exhibitors, including business suppliers, service providers, hospitality groups, career opportunities, economic organizations, educational institutions, and a wide selection of artists and artisans.

Close to 1,000 participants are expected to attend to discuss and promote aboriginal business, community, and economic development.

Dr. Martin Brokenleg and Wab Kinew are this year’s keynote speakers at the conference. Comedian and puppeteer DerRic Starlight will headline a gala banquet.

Vision Quest is free and open to the public at the RBC Convention Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
