WINNIPEG — The Health Sciences Centre has opened four new integrated operating rooms.
Through $1 million in donations, the upgrades were made to include new HD cameras and monitor systems, which are connected to a designated classroom at HSC Winnipeg.
The operating rooms will improve safety and efficiency in HSC’s surgical program, while increasing educational opportunities for clinical professionals.
“With these upgrades, we can provide an even better experience for our patients, improve training for health care providers and showcase the skills and talents of our surgical teams safely to other professionals who visit HSC Winnipeg to see what we can do,” said Dr. Perry Gray, HSC’s vice-president and chief medical officer.
