Football fans wanting to take in Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ training camp should plan to pay for parking.
Due to FIFA Women’s World Cup preparations at Investors Group Field, the Bombers will practice on the east field location beside the Winnipeg Indoor Soccer Complex west of the stadium.
Fans can watch from the southeast side of the field and can pay for parking in the metered lot at the Soccer Complex facility on Chancellor Matheson Road. Parking in the Bomber Store lot at the stadium isn’t permitted this season due to FIFA-related activities.
Due to limited seated capacity, fans should also bring their own lawn chairs.
Practices are open to the public and begin on Wednesday, May 27 with rookie camp. Full training camp opens Sunday, May 31.
