Winnipeg residents can get a look at the second phase of bus rapid transit today.

The city is holding a public information session to view the design of Stage 2 of the Southwest Transitway, extending from Jubilee Avenue to the University of Manitoba.

Residents are invited to drop in to learn more about the project, and to speak with the project team who will be on hand to answer any questions.

The second phase includes active transportation paths and the widening of Pembina Highway through the Jubilee Underpass.

The session will be held at Canad Inns Fort Garry, 1824 Pembina Highway, from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
