Winnipeg police are stepping up enforcement when it comes to Sunday cruise night.

Police say numerous complaints have been received from across the city regarding racing, dangerous driving and noisy operation of motor vehicles.

Members of central traffic unit will be on hand at various locations to address such issues and ensure motorists are abiding by the Highway Traffic Act.

“Our goal is to ensure the safety of all those that use our roadways, and the Winnipeg Police Service reminds drivers to Just Slow Down,” police stated in a news release.
