WINNIPEG — Portage Place Shopping Centre is now home to three new pop-up retailers.
“We are thrilled to support these young, creative, and eager entrepreneurs,” said Stefano Grande, executive director of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.
“They have put their own careers on hold to make a serious effort of their business dreams downtown. We are ready to help support them with value-added resources like business development, industry mentorship, legal and human resources coaching, and marketing support.”
Spaces are being provided through the BIZ’s Launch It! Retail Incubator & Pop-up initiative.
The end goal is that some of the businesses will eventually open up a permanent shop in the city’s downtown.
