Goldeyes Trim Down Roster Ahead of Home Opener

Winnipeg Goldeyes LogoThe Winnipeg Goldeyes on Sunday released left-handed pitcher Gabe Aguilar from their roster.

American Association teams were required to reduce their rosters to 22 players at noon. The Goldeyes now have 11 pitchers and 11 position players on their roster.

Winnipeg concludes its 10-game season-opening road trip tonight in Joplin against the Blasters at Joe Becker Stadium. Game time is 5 p.m.

The Goldeyes are back home at Shaw Park on Tuesday night for their home opener against the Sioux Falls Canaries.
