Soccer fans in Winnipeg can hop on a free trolley and be driven around to the city’s downtown hotspots.
The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ and Winnipeg Trolley Company have teamed up to offer the “Free-fa Bus,” accommodating fans during the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
“Downtown hotels have been booked solid with visitors from across the globe, all eager to take in FIFA soccer matches,” said Jason Syvixay, managing director of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.
“We are excited to roll out the red carpet for our guests to the city and downtown, and to showcase our downtown’s compelling experiences, like our delicious restaurants, exciting entertainment and welcoming hospitality.”
Free rides will be offered June 8, 12, 15 and 16 from 9 p.m. to midnight.
A list of trolley stops can be found on the Downtown BIZ website.
