The Winnipeg Goldeyes have launched their own smartphone app, helping fans stay up-to-date with all things team-related.
The Goldeyes Gameday app — developed by Emotion Media — includes team schedules, league standings, player statistics, ballpark maps and special discounts on merchandise and concessions at Shaw Park.
“It’s a great way for people to stay connected to the team and have an even better experience at Shaw Park,” said Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier.
The app includes a countdown clock to the next game, so fans never miss an opening pitch.
Fans can also purchase game tickets directly from the app, which is now available for Apple and Android devices.
The Goldeyes host the Sioux Falls Canaries tonight at Shaw Park. The opening pitch is at 7 p.m.
