Man Allegedly Throws Rocks at Cars on Highway 1 Near Carberry

RCMP Crest LogoA 22-year-old man has been charged after RCMP say he threw rocks at passing vehicles on Highway 1 near Carberry on Monday.

The alleged incident happened at around 11 a.m. in the westbound lanes just east of Carberry.

Police say the man jumped in front of traffic before throwing the rocks. Eight vehicles were damaged as a result.

Jordan Beaulieu has been charged with eight counts of mischief under $5,000, failing to comply with a recognizance and driving without a licence.

He remains at the Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today.
