A Manitoba corrections officer has been charged with impaired driving after a crash in Beausejour.
RCMP arrived on scene June 5 just after 11 p.m. to find a SUV had collided with two parked cars on James Avenue.
The driver was transported to hospital, but after speaking with police, was found to be intoxicated.
Neil Kronberg, 40, from Beausejour, was almost two times the legal limit of blood alcohol content. He is a corrections officer at Milner Ridge Correctional Centre.
Kronberg has been released on a promise to appear.
On Tuesday, a Winnipeg police officer was charged with impaired driving in Kilcona Park.
