Canada Day Celebrations Rounding Up Manitoba Musicians

Leanne PearsonWINNIPEG — Canada Day at The Forks this year will have a roster of local talent filling three stages.

Manitoba Live will showcase the incredible talent of artists from throughout the province to celebrate the nation’s birthday. More than a dozen acts are scheduled to perform, spanning just about every genre.

Performers include rock outfit Attica Riots and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, country pop act Leanne Pearson, roots troubadour Slow Leaves, up-and-comers Sc Mira and others.

Inside The Forks Market, performances include acclaimed children’s act Seanster and the Monsters, country crooner Quinton Blair, Americana duo Leaf Rapids, singer/songwriters Adam Hanney and Kevin Roy, and pop act French Press.
