Winnipeg police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body on the banks of the Red River near Lombard Avenue and Waterfront Drive.
An off-duty police officer found the body near the water’s edge on Friday at around 5:35 p.m.
The cause of death is unconfirmed until an autopsy can be performed.
No further details are available and police are continuing to investigate.
