Sunday’s Pride Winnipeg parade is said to be the largest ever — drawing out more than 1,000 people to march in downtown celebrating those who identify as LGBTTQ* — lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit and queer.

Seventy entrants were registered for the trek, which took the parade down Broadway to Memorial Boulevard, York Avenue and Garry Street.

The brightly-coloured costumes and outfits were hard to miss as floats, cyclists, those on rollerblades and even unicycles, made their way by.
