A social media push by Prostate Cancer Canada is encouraging people to wear plaid this Friday, June 19.
The #WearPlaidForDad campaign is a driver to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research.
The idea is simple — put on plaid socks, pants, shirt, hat, tie or any other article of clothing on Friday.
Those who participate are asking to send a tweet or Facebook status update along the lines of, “Today I decided to #WearPlaidforDad because…” Anyone wishing to donate can do so online or just spread the campaign’s message via social media.
