Raheem Tyner (HANDOUT)
The Manitoba Bisons have recruited forward Raheem Tyner for the 2015-16 basketball season.
The 6’6″, 220 lbs. Minneapolis native averaged 23.5 points per game at Cooper High School in his senior season. After high school, Tyner went on to play one year of prep school basketball and then on to Allen County C.C.
“Raheem is a prototypical combo-forward that we often see do very well in the CIS,” Bisons head coach Kirby Schepp said. “He has a proven ability to play multiple positions at the college level. He is also a character person with a great work ethic and we feel he could be an impact player for our program.”
Tyner joins a recruiting class that includes local standouts Dharmjit Dhillion and Raj Sidhu of Kildonan East Collegiate as well as transfer guard Ilarion Bonhomme from Brandon and Ontario shooting guard Saajan Arora.
