Paws will be hitting the pavement Sunday, June 21 for the annual Fairmont Winnipeg Paws in Motion at Assiniboine Park.
Thousands of pet owners and their furry companions will take part in the walk-a-thon and the 5 km superhero run.
The fun run begins at 9:30 a.m., with the walking portion of the event beginning at 10:30 a.m. near the Lyric Stage.
Fundraising proceeds from the day go to support the Winnipeg Humane Society and its more than 8,000 animals it cares for each year.
Donations can be made online.
Paws in Motion will wrap up at 1 p.m.
