Camperville Man Dies After Being Ejected from Vehicle

RCMP Crest LogoA 58-year-old man from Camperville, Manitoba has died after being ejected from a vehicle on Sunday.

The two-vehicle crash happened at around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Richard Avenue in Camperville.

RCMP say the man was a passenger in one of the vehicles and wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time. He was pronounced deceased in hospital.

A vehicle had attempted to pass another, but lost control and rolled.

The driver of the vehicle — a 45-year-old woman from Pine Creek First Nation — suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. She is under investigation for impaired and dangerous driving.

The driver of the other vehicle involved — a 50-year-old woman — suffered only minor injuries.
