Organizers of the 2015 Transcona Biz Summer Concert Series have revealed the lineup for this year’s entertainment.
Happening every Friday beginning June 26 until August 7, Transcona Centennial Square will be alive with musical artists from 6-8 p.m.
Kicking things off this week will be Curtis Newton, while The New Lightweights perform the following Friday, on July 3.
“The strength of a community is not purely measured in economic terms, community strength is also very dependent on vibrancy and resident engagement,” said Teressa Blank, executive director of the Transcona BIZ.

Free outdoor movie screenings will also run every Thursday at 9:15 p.m. starting August 6 to August 27.
