WINNIPEG — A foamy, muddy, and physically challenging five-kilometre endurance course will be awash in foam on Saturday.

The 5K Foam Fest is being held at Adrenaline Adventures, where participants will get to the finish line by either running, climbing, or sliding their way there.

There isn’t a time limit on the course and it’s not particularly a race, but more of a fun way to spend a balmy summer day.

“The obstacles won’t be easy and some are inherently dangerous — so be careful and don’t try and do anything beyond your skill level,” their website reads.

Besides the course, other activities on site include a foam pit, inflatable obstacle course and bounce house for the kids. For the adults, there’s something called skyfall, big baller and a wrecking ball.

The 5K Foam Fest is happening in 12 cities across Canada this summer. For more information and to register, visit 5KFoamFest.ca. Adrenaline Adventures is located at 600 Caron Road in Headingley.
