Two people have been charged after Winnipeg police say they were spotted breaking into vehicles in the River Heights area on Monday.
Between midnight and 5:30 a.m., two men were seen in the around Cambridge Street and Corydon Avenue entering vehicles and stealing property.
They hit the 1100 block of Grosvenor Avenue, 700 block of Dorchester Avenue, and 300 block of Arlington Street.
A vigilant resident contacted police and the suspects were tracked down.
Joseph Teddy McKay, 21, and Emeleo Alexander Cole, 21, have been charged with several break-and-enter offences. McKay also faces charges of possession of a scheduled substance and possession of a weapon.
Both men remain in custody.
