The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are sitting at 21,337 season tickets ahead of their home opener against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats tonight.
“We continue our hard work in creating an outstanding game day experience for our fans,” said Blue Bombers president and CEO Wade Miller. “On the field, we got off to a great start with a season opening win in Saskatchewan last week and we are looking toward the rest of the year with great optimism.”
The football club says this year’s season ticket numbers are consistent with those in 2014. Nearly 27,000 tickets have been sold to tonight’s home opener.
CFL Commissioner Jeffrey Orridge will be on hand to perform the official coin toss at Investors Group Field.
The tailgate festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
