The Purolator Tackle Hunger program raised 297,200 pounds of food Friday at the Winnipeg Blue Bomber game for the province’s largest food bank.

“Thanks to the outstanding and inspiring support of Winnipeg Blue Bombers fans, this year’s Purolator Tackle Hunger Game Day Food Drive raised more than 297,200 pounds of food for Winnipeg Harvest. A massive increase from last year’s 97,700 pounds.” said Patrick Nangle, President and CEO, Purolator. “The food and funds raised will go a long way in feeding those affected by hunger in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.”
