Winnipeg police say a woman was seriously sexually assaulted on Park Lane early Wednesday morning.
Police said the woman was walking in the first 100 block of the street at about 2 a.m. when a man on a bike rode up and started talking to her. They went to a nearby area, then the male grabbed her, and then seriously sexually assaulted her before fleeing on the bike.
The woman was able to head to a nearby store where she called police.
The man is described as 20-30 years old, about 5’9″, average build, clean-shaven with a tattoo on his neck and a piercing over his left eye. He was wearing a white shirt and black shorts with red stripes on each side. The bike may have had headphones or speakers on it.
