Thelma Krull’s family is holding a walk this weekend to honour their mother and hopefully light her way home.

Lisa Besser, Krull’s daughter, sent an email to media Friday informing them of the walk, to be held Saturday night.

“I wanted to share with you that on Saturday, July 18th, at 9:30pm we will be holding a walk for anyone interested to join as we “Light the Walk Home” for my mom,” she said. “Flashlights, head lights, etc would be preferred over candles as they are safer.  As of Saturday morning she will be missing for a full week. With numerous efforts over the last 7 days we still have no leads to help find her.

“For anyone who would like to come join we are asking that you stay safe:
– Do NOT Walk Alone! Stay within the group!
– this is not a search, rather only a walk with hope;
– dress appropriately for the weather;
– wear proper footwear;
– consider bug spray;
– stay hydrated.”

Besser said the walk will start at the hill behind Kildonan East Collegiate and will end on Concordia Avenue.
