Winnipeg police say the homicide unit has taken over the search for Thelma Krull from the missing persons unit.
However, police are stressing the woman’s disappearance is still a missing persons case.
Krull, 57, was last seen walking from her home on Saturday, July 11 in Harbourview. She has not been seen since.
Winnipeg police found her glasses earlier this week near Valley Gardens community centre.
Police are also hoping to identify the two people in the above photo. While they do not believe they are suspects in the case, the two may have information.
“We would welcome hearing from anyone who was in that area Saturday morning – playing tennis, walking or going for a jog – on the off chance you saw something that could help further this investigation,” reads a statement from police.
Anyone with information is asked to call 204-986-6508.
