The Winnipeg Goldeyes have welcomed back veteran outfielder Reggie Abercrombie to their roster.
Abercrombie comes from the Sussex County Miners in exchange for rookie outfielder Brady Wilson.
It’s the 34-year-old’s second stint with the team after hitting .314 with 19 home runs and 74 RBI in 100 games last season with the Fish. This season, he batted .233 with three home runs and 20 RBI in 45 games with the Miners.
The Goldeyes have 22 players on their roster, including 11 pitchers and 11 position players.
Winnipeg closes an eight-game homestand tonight against the Gary SouthShore RailCats at Shaw Park. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
