A female youth was sexually assaulted while walking with her in mother in Winnipeg on Monday, police say.
The two were walking on the sidewalk in the area of McGregor Street and Pritchard Avenue at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday when a male on a bicycle reached out and sexually assaulted the youth. She was not injured in the assault.
The suspect is described as aboriginal between the ages of 14 and 18. He had a medium build, shoulder length straight hair, clean shaven and was wearing a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans. He was riding a silver BMX-style bicycle.
